One encounters this roadsign on the way to the waves of Baja South.
Abreojos translates to 'Open your eyes'. This small fishing village in the middle of nowhere was named by Francisco Bolaños. While exploring the coast his shipmates told him to 'open his eyes' to avoid all of the reefs. Those same reefs create some excellent waves. Stay tuned for more Latin-american toponymology.
